I use this aloe vera gel all summer long. I use it as my regular moisturizer because I don't like lotion in the summer. I use it before I put on my mineral sunblock, and I use the gel again after coming in from the sun. It is the best aloe vera after-sun gel I have ever found, as it doesn't seem to have a lot of extra stuff in it, and it has no smell other than a natural aloe vera smell. I even put this gel on my hair sometimes, it tames frizz and makes it shiny.

Nice stuff. Soothing. I can't give 5 stars as it took a lot of effort to get the lid off and now I cant seem to get the lid back on?? Now I have the whole big tube to use storing it open and upside down = Not impressive

I use this to slick down all the new growth hairs (I'm taking hair growth supps) that would otherwise stick out and look ridiculous lol. I'm not a hair product user because I don't like stuff that weighs my hair down or makes it sticky. This is the total opposite. It's lightweight, doesn't leave behind residue, and a natural product. Also it doesn't have a fragrance, so that's a huge plus.

My husband ordered this because he loves natural products and I typically don't like the coconut smell of the alba products but this doesn't have that smell. It has a slight vinegar smell, but it is very effective in treating sunburns. Our whole family uses it and it works well. it has a more gel like viscous texture. It doesn't have a strong odor. It lasts for a while and has a good price point.

I am a cancer patient and get radiation treatments and was advised by my oncologist to use a gentle aloe lotion along with another cream for my burns. I didn't want to use an aloe gel because I thought it might sting but this lotion is so gentle and soothing and has helped my burns tremendously. I use it several times a day and then again at night before bed and then put the ointment on afterwards. I will continue to use this after treatment because it's soothing and moisturizing

It's a great product besides it being a little sticky. It's great for sunburn. We used while in vacation. My kids skin is very sensitive and this product did not break them out which is great. But it was very sticky so take the time to allow it dry.

This works wonders on burn skin. Went to Florida, first time in the sun for this year, spent way to much time in the sun. I was burnt to a crisp. I have used Alba products in the past and always had success so I ordered the after sun lotion. I put it on 3 times a day. I couldn't believe my skin didn't peel at all. I am extremely happy with this product. It is a thicker lotion and very creamy feel. It absorbs well into the skin. It has a nice mild scent, I don't like perfumes or scented products.

It's a little liquidy!! But works well cooking & soothing. Nice smell. Hard to apply because it just leaks out of the bottle everywhere!!

PERFECT aloe Vera gel. Smells light and natural, pleasant.YES IT IS THIN AND WATERY. That's how REAL aloe vera, from the plant is. If you want a thicker gel, you'll have to get something with other, unnatural fillers and ingredients.

My husband developed eczema last year and trying to find something that truly helped has been incredibly difficult. After much trial and error here are the things i think have helped the most: D3 supplements, epsom salt body wash, and this aloe vera gel!Their are other things I tried to help him, but those three are what finally really gave him relief and clear skin in my opinion. This aloe vera gel was the final piece of the puzzle as it took care of his "angry" spots as I called them (aka the ones that would ooze). Within a week of using this those last several spots were finally gone!I realize eczema is a very tricky skin disorder and what works for one may not work for another, but if you are thinking of trying this then I say go for it! I am so glad my husband finally has some real relief.

I've had dry skin since I was born 56 years ago, and I've tried everything (let me give you a tip - STOP using petroleum based commercial products from the drug store, they only block your pores). Most aloe vera feels nice going on but leaves my skin feeling gelatinous and sticky (it is from a cactus plan after all). NOT this one. Leaves my skin soft (relatively).Yes, there is a high water content. So much the better, I like to cover my legs and arms with this stuff. There are plenty of thicker versions out there is you want one - "Skin Gel" is the best I've found.4 stars is due to the damn top, it keeps breaking on me. Ideally this tube should sit upside down but when the top breaks all the liquid starts to drip out. Please fix this Alba Botanical.
