Love it. I have taken this for years, i might get sick once every 3 years if that. And then, im only sick for 2-3 days top.

My husband was constantly on blood pressure medicine with persistent leg swelling and all over not feeling good. But a friend told me about these and we decided to try them. So glad we did! These helped drop his blood pressure and decreased the leg swelling immensely. It is very effective, inexpensive, easy to use, and lasts a long time.

I am a studying herbalist and this stuff is amazing! Keeps me and my son healthy and I am ALWAYS recommending it. As an ounce of prevention, during cold/flu season we take it 2x per week (i.e. Sunday & Wednesday). My son's sick days at school were almost zero and consequently mine too. If you catch something, use daily with other methods and herbs/meds to assist (Ridgecrest Herbals, Clear Lungs and Clear Sinus)...(Elderberry items and Emergen-C).

I have been taking this supplement for years. Today's delivery came just in time AND I opened it up and the tablets look VERY DIFFERENT. I immediately looked at the expiration date. It was Dec 2029 so that's not the problem. No smell like they usually smell- a potent vitamin smell. It doesn't even seem like the same product. Disappointed.

During the winter months in Montana, I wouldn't be without these. Whenever I feel a chill or cold coming, I take one these and I'm fine the next morning. They keep my immune system up. I always have at least one in my medicine cabinet.

These work but the pills are large and not coated so it has gotten stuck in my throat even after cutting in half.

Will fix whatever ails you. Dries you up, sometimes more than you'd like. Use a little saline nasal spray to combat. A must have in your Med Cabinet or Bug out Pack

When I was first introduced to this product I was a skeptic. A HUGE skeptic. There are so many different remedies out there claiming to prevent colds, or help people get over them faster, and I have never once gotten even the slightest impression that they work. I still get the cold, and it's still miserable for a week to a week and a half. So I rolled my eyes when my sister-in-law dumped one of these in my hand and demanded I take it. I'd just gotten off a long flight, in the winter, after spending all day in the airport, and I had already resigned myself to the fact that I was going to come down sick in a few days.That first time, I chalked the fact that I ended up not getting sick to coincidence. The next five or so times I chalked it up to the same. Somewhere around the tenth time I finally became a believer. I take one pill anytime I have been exposed to highly public places, anytime I'm really tired and my immune system is lagging, and then I'm always very careful to get a really good night's sleep for at least one night, and I haven't been legitimately sick in years. Not even when my husband (who refuses to take them despite my best efforts) spreads his germs around our house for weeks on end when he's sick.I definitely recommend these as immune system boosters. They have done absolute wonders for me!!!

As other reviews have pointed out, this products description does not match the pictured bottle. Advertised descriptions and pics need to match up as this is false advertising and should be changed asap. Now im not totally upset. Although they made a few changes im not happy about I am going to try product anyway but to the makers of this product they should change the preservatives. So what they did to the newer version which you can actually compare because they still have the older version in the pictures. What they did was take out the Goldenseal (main reason I bought this product) and changed it to the Oregon Grape Root....Not knowing what Oregon Grape Root was I was about to return it. Oregon Grape Root is similar to Goldenseal....but might actually work better the Goldenseal as a antimicrobial/antibacterial and liver cleanser. Both these plants have Berberin in it which is what makes it so great for infections and liver/digestion problems. Now the part I am not so happy about is the company added four new "other" Ingredients that are most likely for preservation of product. The Four ingredients they added were, dicalcium phosphate, stearic Acid, dextrose and silica dioxide. so it went from three other ingredients which were microcrystalline cellulous (Binder), magnesium stearate )vegetable lubricant) and natural food glaze coating to now 7 ingredients. So I will see how product is anyways and hopefully it helps my problems but I gave this three stars because of the false advertising and the other star is for the ingredients that may or may not be needed at all. So if Nutribiotics reads this review I hope that you at least change the description and the pictures so that they match up. As for the other ingredients...well that's more up to you guys what you want to add or take out...but if the advertising is true to the received product then its more up to the consumer whether or not they want to use the product and take the risks that follow with unnecessary ingredients. other then all the changes I do like a lot of the other ingredients like three mushroom extracts, ginger root, Echinacea, zinc and Vitamin C.

These defenseplus tablets are the real deal and highly effective. Pills are very big so I had to get use to swallowing them whole. I had a cyst acne breakout real bad because I'm allergic to dairy products. I had a severe stomach virus so was forced to take probiotics and eat yogurt daily. Well my stomach felt a million times better but my face felt horrible. I broke out in cysts all over my cheeks and chin. I knew I needed antibiotics but wanted something more natural so I bought these tablets.* These tablets stopped my cyst breakouts after a week of daily usage. Took a higher dosage the first week also.* Taking them in the morning gave me headaches so I took them in the evenings and before bed without any more problems.* My face really healed quicker than normal.* I didn't pop my cysts so they took awhile to completely disappear internally; but, you couldn't see them on my face at all.* Noticed my man down below got an extra boost and increased my stamina according to my wife.

My hubby was skeptical, since EmergenCee (sp?) did nothing for us. But Defense Plus works GREAT!!! Since it's an adaptogen you shouldn't use it every day all the time or it will lose its effectiveness, so just use it for a week or 2 when needed. But if you're getting sick or your coworkers or kids are sick you will have a very good chance of *NOT* getting sick. (We also take it b4 and while we travel on planes.) My husband works a week per month on a boat in close quarters with other guys who are often sick. I'd say about 95% of the time he can avoid getting sick by taking Defense Plus once a day (NOTE: More is not better, just take once a day.) Honestly, many times, when we felt "that feeling" (where we knew we were getting sick) we took this and voila!!! We didn't get sick, it just went away. No lie! This is *not a solicited review,* I am just a HUGE fan of this stuff (have been for years) and its ingredients. No stomach upset or side effects. One problem: You have to **remember to take it** when others are sick. That's a habit you just have to develop. Really, try it, you will be amazed. (And no, I don't work for the company.)

For the past couple of years I always felt slightly sick, almost as if my immune system just wasn't working. I was originally looking for an alternative for antibiotics for my skin, but then I stumbled on these pills. I like anything that's a natural approach to medicine and this had promising reviews. I take one or two a day, depending on how I feel- one in the morning, and one before I go to sleep. I DO feel better, and I didn't get sick at all after I started taking these. However, I have a really sensitive stomach, and I don't know, I think it doesn't sit too well with my stomach. Sometimes I feel super bloated after I take the pill but maybe it's because I take it on an empty stomach in the morning. And I've noticed that sometimes if I concentrate too much on the bloatness I feel like I'm gonna throw up. But it does what its supposed to. So four stars.

I've been researching natural and alternative methods to replace the chemical pharmaceuticals for over 40 years. About 25 years ago I came across Nutribiotic products. Nutribiotic Defenseplus tablets are positively the best sickness preventative I've ever used. I've taken these tablets or the concentrate and have not had a cold for decades and haven't had the flu either. I've tried other products (tablets, capsules, teas and herbs) whether popular or not and didn't find them to be useful for me. Additionally I've taken the Nutribiotic Defenseplus tablets or concentrate to relieve myself of gastric distress, food poisoning, diahrrea toothaches and infections with success every time. I take the Nutribiotic Defenseplus tablets or concentrate nearly every day in the winter and several times/weekly the rest of the year. I have not experienced any side effects from taking the tablets or the concentrate as often as I do. There are two bottle sizes for the tablets 45 tablets and 90 tablets. FYI, the concentrate is bitter. I take the concentrate with OJ or grapefruit juice which does reduce the bitterness.

At work, we manage large volumes of paperwork (including incoming mail) and many people in the office have had terrible colds and flu.I take this item and have had excellent results, so far. I am re-ordering to have this item on hand.I would and have recommended this product and I also have the GSE liquid in my medicine cabinet. The GSE liquid Maximum GSE Liquid Concentrate 1 oz.(diluted as recommended on label) makes an excellent gargle for a sore throat.I also take oregano oil (NOW brand) NOW Foods Oregano Oil Enteric, 90 Softgels.Other tips:#1 TIP: Wash hands -- always after using the restroom and ALWAYS before eating or preparing food.#2 TIP: Keep desk, kitchen or work station clean by wiping down surfaces daily.#3 TIP Avoid touching hands to face between hand washing.Also I avoid elevators especially at hospitals.Why? People enter the enclosed space; cough and sneeze. The doors are open only for a few seconds, so often that area does not have time to air-out.Last, but not least, always read the label to ensure you are using a product correctly.
